MicroLab Devices was founded in 2010. It has been on a journey of research and development surrounding microfluidic technology. Projects have been as far and wide as developing diagnostics for Sepsis, intelligent wound dressings, volatile organic compound sensors for aircraft through to radiochemical separation for the Nuclear industry. Today MicroLab Devices are commercially focused. We have developed two key patents in technology for reading Lateral Flow Devices on a Smartphone and automated radiochemical separation.
If you would like more information about either of these technologies then please contact us or see the specific links below.
MicroLab Devices have developed a patented method of reading Lateral Flow Diagnostics via Smartphones. This technology is being used under license by one major international company. If you have an interest in using our technology with your device then please contact us for more information. We are working on an information pack and will be sharing more information on our website shortly.
MicroLab Devices jointly working with the National Nuclear Laboratory have developed a patented process of automated radiochemical separation. The process uses a combination of disposable cartridge based ion exchange chromatography and system automation. The company Nuclear Innovations Ltd has been established to design, manufacture, sell and distribute this technology.
We always welcome the opportunity to collaborate. If you would like to work with us or apply for a smartphone based Lateral Flow Device reader license for your diagnostic product range or whether you would like to know more about our high through-put, automated radiochemical separation technology, then please contact us. We welcome both commercial and scientific enquiries.
